The Denton, TX troubadour, Doug Burr is at it again, his new single Country Girls In City Dresses is out today! Granted it’s only 3 tracks, but thank goodness he didn’t make us wait 5 years like he did between full lengths O Ye Devastator and 2015’s acclaimed Pale White Dove. The new single finds Mr. Burr back to his softer side, a gentle blur of the lines between pop, indie, gospel, and blues. It’s a field he so often excels in. The title track was produced by Britton Beisenherz, and recorded at Ramble Creek Studios in Austin. The artwork of the single is an original painting by Dallas artist Kim Alexander.
