Great Comfort Records has just released Lenny Smith’s new worship album, You are My Hiding Place. Lenny is best-known as the composer of “Our God Reigns,” and now is presenting 12 more of his originals. His 5 children (the band Danielson) and grandchildren sing and play on all the songs. Daniel C. Smith, his son, is the producer and did the exceptional cover art. Daniel has also produced albums by Sufjan Stevens, Steve Taylor, Mewithoutyou, Half-Japanese, and lots of others. The whole family feels this is their “best feet forward.” An entire album with real melodies and inspired, thoughtful, poetic lyrics…so refreshing!
