With its black & white graphics and darkly shaded sound, Prints of Darkness was bound to be an album that would be misunderstood in its first incarnation, but was equally bound to be embraced by those who “got it.” Mastermind Brian Healy, working in collaboration with Michael Knott (L.S. Underground, Aunt Bettys), Mike Sauerbrey (The Choir, L.S.U.), and Gym Nicholson & Ojo Taylor (Undercover), created an underground masterpiece, tipping the musical hat to artists like David Bowie and Bauhaus, The Cure and Scott Walker.
