According to their Facebook page, old school punk rockers Upside Down Room are still around and recording new music. No other details, but we keep you updated. For those that don’t remember, Upside Down Room was signed to Tooth & Nail records for a pair of releases in 90s and also have several indie releases outside of that. Their latest EPs have been released through Pop.Vox.Music.
The new ep by Upside Down Room, Let’s Go For A Ride, is available now at pop.vox.music. It features six new punk rock songs for your listening pleasure (two songs are new recordings of hard-to-find songs). “This is their first full release in 12 years, and their first new recorded material in 10 years. The songs were mastered by Jason Martin (Starflyer 59) and the artwork is by Rachel Anderson (The Devious Means).”
Pop.Vox.Music announced today that punk rockers Upside Down Room are back. Well, they actually never went anywhere, but they now have new music. Out now is a re-issue of the band’s out-of-print ep TV Baby with two bonus tracks and redesigned “classic” artwork. Also announced is a new 6 song ep to be released next month. No more details on the new songs other than they were mastered by Jason Martin of Starflyer 59. Should be another classic.
So much news to cover from the holidays – so little time! I’ll try to contain it to just a few a day to not overwhelm people! First up is Upside Down Room. They went on hiatus for a while, but are now back! UDR has been playing a few reunion concerts and there are rumors of new songs and re-issued classics. A few links for more information:

Up next is Slide – they continue to release songs and work towards bigger and bigger things. January 12th will see the release of their 3rd single “Dime Store Queer.” The single will also feature two additional remixes by MDAVISTO. Slide is looking for a video director for a possible video for this single. They also mentioned that they “will update soon with that BIG piece of news along with another important newsworthy mention.” Keep an eye on slidemusicstore.com for more news.
