Frozen Rope Records is an indie venture started by Brad Wells, probably around 1994.  Internet pages for this label are mostly gone, but they produced releases by [[Four Living Creatures]], [[Harry Gore and the Measles]], and others.

In 1995, Brad Wells attempted to get the first album by Four Living Creatures (//Proletariat Poetry//) and an album by Harry Gore & the Measles distributed by [[Gray Dot Records]].  Some sources say that this happened, but this can't be confirmed.

For a while, there is was an online store front, a little outdated, that had other Frozen Rope releases by Chris Lucas, Tom Abernethy, and Copper Sails. However, that is currently gone.
