Red Sector One (aka Red Sector 1 or RS1) was a Vancouver BC Canada based synthpop duo consisting of vocalist Andrew Bufante and keyboardist Michael Davis. The band form in mid 1991 when keyboardist Michael place a ad in the local newspaper for a singer. Clarke Wright answered the ad and became the bands first vocalist. They went on to record their first album //World PEACE// in 1992. Clarke later left the band in the summer of 1993. In late 1993 Andrew joined the band and they went on to record their second album //An Optimistic Delight// in 1994 and their third album //The Future is Everlasting// in 1999. The band has been on numerous compilations over the last 20 years as well.
