====== The Joke? ======

The Joke? was formed in June of 1992 in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The band relied on a mixture of sounds and styles based on the different and diverse musical influences of its members to form it's identity. Following their thrash metal influences, the band released //The Death of the Brittle Biscuit// in 1995. In 1998, they released a 4-song demo CD. In 2001, with a new members and a more alternative sound, they released the album //Beware of the Dog//. In 2005, the band was on the road with their new album //Cockroach//. Also released in November of 2005 was their first video for "Veniste." //Cockroach// was a totally independent production, with the band involved in each step of the creative process. As with everything that The Joke? does, you can see their hunger and attitude by the sincere way they emulate Brazilian culture.
