Witness was a band fronted by [[Ian Ripper]] frontman Lance after Ian Ripper had been around for 2 years. Kerry Krafton, owner of Earth & Sky Studios in Austin, wrote some Christian tunes. He brought together the band to record his songs. They sent the demo to [[Morada Records]] and got a one album contract. However, the band changed names to [[Follower]], and eventually ended up releasing //Into the Son// on [[Quicksilver Records]] in 1987.
