Red Sector One (aka Red Sector 1 or RS1) was a Vancouver BC Canada based synthpop duo consisting of vocalist Andrew Bufante and keyboardist Michael Davis. The band form in mid 1991 when keyboardist Michael place a ad in the local newspaper for a singer. Clarke Wright answered the ad and became the bands first vocalist. They went on to record their first album World PEACE in 1992. Clarke later left the band in the summer of 1993. In late 1993 Andrew joined the band and they went on to record their second album An Optimistic Delight in 1994 and their third album The Future is Everlasting in 1999. The band has been on numerous compilations over the last 20 years as well.
