Folk Rock
Rockland, Delaware, USA
“Skatman (born David) Meredith was born and raised in the New York metro area and traveled south to college to pursue an art degree. Receiving a guitar as a graduation present, he taught himself to play and over time honed his guitar skills. In the first years after college Meredith lived and traveled in the South and New England before settling in Delaware, where he enjoyed regional notoriety in bands such as Black Moss Meredith, Nicholas Freight and The Action Figures. In the early 90’s he began his solo career, developing a style which has been described as Intense Alternative Folk Rock.”
