G.V.A. stands for God's Victorious Army. Burrito Villalpando started the band when he was 23. Dennis Rudolph joined on the guitar. They went through three drummers before finding Dan Jacobs as their permanent drummer. Then Burrito joined Conviction of Sin. He went on to join Moral Majority before forming The Warning and 8-Ball Cholos
