====== Death-Defying Spring ======

Alternative Rock / Grunge\\
California, USA

Shawn Tubbs, former guitarist for [[The Violet Burning]], formed this band in 1993. Tubbs was the lead singer and guitarist, with Pierre Martin on bass and Randy Car on drums. They said they had a "loud Hendrixy thing with stacked vocals like Kig's X. But some guitar parts do sound like Alice in Chains." The April 1993 issue of //[[Notebored]]// said they had an album coming out on [[New Breed]] in 1993, but it seems that album was never released.
