Jimmy P. Brown II is mostly well-known as the lead singer, guitarist, and song writer for thrash metal band [[Deliverance (California)]]. However, he has also started several other side projects in addition to recording a solo project (//Eraserhead//) under his own name.

During one of the break-ups of [[Deliverance (California)]], Brown started to work on a new electronica / industrial / gothic project called [[Fearful Symmetry]]. The project name was taken from the poem "The Tyger" by William Blake. [[Fearful Symmetry]] has released two albums: //This Sad Veil of Tears// in 2002 and //A Loss of Balance// in 2005.

In 2005, Brown formed a band called [[Jupiter VI]] along with Brian Khairullah, Trevor Shannon, Mike Reed, and Tiberius Ahan. [[Jupiter VI]] provided an outlet for Brown to express his love for glam rock, cited influences like David Bowie, T-Rex, [[Daniel Amos]], Iggy Pop, and others from the genre. [[Jupiter VI]] has released two albums: //Back From Mars// in 2006 and //Moveable Walls// in 2014.

Brown has often made several references to his influences in all of his musical projects. Besides the early influence of Metallica and Testament on the first [[Deliverance (California)]] albums, Queensrÿche has been one of the main influences on his style. In fact, the name "[[Deliverance (California)]]" was taken from the title to the third track on Queensrÿche's 1984 album, //The Warning//. Brown has often honored other musicians who have influenced him, including David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and [[Terry Scott Taylor]].
