Lightforce are the band that [[Mortification]] was born out of. They attained a level of success in Australia, especially in the Melbourne metal scene, also landing support spots with [[Leviticus]] and [[Stryper]]. Mortification's //Break the Curse// was originally a Lightforce demo, with the name change coming shortly after its release.
