Pep Squad was a poppy rock group from the northwest that made a significant splash in the Christian indie rock scene in the mid-90's. Bryan Everett and Bradley Swanson were also in [[Motormouth]], even though they saw Pep Squad as the joke band and Motormouth as the serious band. Bryan announced to the band one day that he had signed Pep Squad with [[Sublime Records]]. The band went to the Green Room to record the band's label debut. Sublime felt that the album was not Christian enough, so they sold the contract to [[Tooth & Nail Records]].
