Rhythmworks and [[65dBA]] formed out of the ashes of [[Heartbeat]]. A 1993 review of the five Rhythmworks songs here in CrossRyhtms magazine said that the sound was "distinctly dated" and that "although they try to sound funky their style and riffs are old-hat... where they come over like The Beastie Boys circa 1985."
