They were mainly recorded on a 70's Tascam 8-track reel to reel deck, or sometimes on a Tascam 4-track cassette recorder (depending on how the 8 -track was working, or how available tape was). All recorded in a little room off of my bedroom at my little house I used to have a million years ago. These are some of the songs that I still kinda like something about. ------ ==== 2006-2009 "Highlights" ==== 2010 Independent - Reach (2:59) - Overflow (2:41) - Countdown (3:19) - Now That He's Gone (3:33) - Coincidentally (4:00) - The Impression You're Sending (3:06) - R-n-R Weirdo (3:12) - Gravity (3:24) - Doesn't Matter Now (4:18) - Rubber Girl (2:37) - Lost and Right (3:07) - All Night Long (3:08) - This, My Life (4:20) - Inflated Things (3:05) - Wave (4:04) - Look at Me (4:07) - Make the Best of It (2:54) - Something I'm Not (3:16) - Fuller Than the Sun (2:51) - Mixing Up (2:58) - Bookmark (2:51) - There's a Moment You Know (4:32) - Lonely Hearts (3:15) - Lost Memories (3:30) - Loneliness (4:06) - Before the Sighs (2:50) - The Sky (3:45) - Dependability (3:40) - Isabel (4:32) - Don't You Ever Feel This Way (3:59) - Open Up Another Eye (3:45) - Cure the Wandering (2:56) - Dreading Every Day (3:24) - The Gist (3:54) - I'll be Honest (3:06) - Forget Yourself (4:40) "I never look back fondly to the 6 albums I made in these years. My reel to reel 8 -track was pretty shot. Heads worn down from recording hundreds of songs by then, and sounding very lo-fi due to to that as well as the crummy old brittle tape that was all I could find at the time, AND that never did all 8 tracks decide to work during any song. I remember having played my lead vocal and guitar at the same time into one mic ( to save on tracks) and having muffled playback in the headphones, both leading to a very loose/ sloppy feel to most songs. I was in an awkward musical phase to go along with tons of changes happening in my life. By 2009 my recorder was sounding much better after nursing it back to somewhat health only to have it go belly up by 2010. Against my memory, some of these songs are better than I remember. Good luck trying to enjoy this extra-sad-sack era of And How! GO TEAM!" ------
