This list is not meant as a definitive word on what counts as punk, or even what albums were actually good punk or not. Many of the bands that mixed in sub/related genres to punk - such as new wave, pogo, power pop, thrash crossover, etc - are included here if several people thought of it as punk back when it was released (and the band at least leans towards punk). They may have been wrong (or the band might have done a poor job), but this is more a list of punk and //attempts// at punk within the Christian music underground.
