Grayslake, Illinois residents Brian Twadell, Scott Karq, and Derek Reed formed industrial rock outfit Vital Force in the late 90's. The trio was best known for the song "Lure," a catchy, club-friendly tune similar to KMFDM or //Clean//-era [[Deitiphobia]]. This song was featured on both the EP of the same title, released in late 1999, and the tenth installment of [[Flaming Fish Music]]'s //Ballistic Test// series of compilations, released in early 2000.
