Estis P@rc

Shoegaze / Indie Rock
Axtell, Nebraska, USA

“Estis P@rc was started in April of 1998, by Steven Dahl, as a 'just for fun' affair. The band played some local gigs, with a very positive response. Soon afterwards they cut their first indie project, Sometimes Not, which received national attention from many different media types, including HM Magazine, CCM, The Phantom Tollbooth, Cornerstone Magazine, and True Tunes! They were selected to perform on the Cornerstone New Band Showcase, which helped them land their current record deal with Puddlegum Communications. Estis P@rc recently recorded their sophomore release and national debut album …And So It Begins, which will be released through Puddlegum Communications in June.

Estis P@rc combines thick, space-like guitars, driving drums, and playful keyboards with Magdelyn's melodic, sultry vocals to create a sound that can only be described as “fringe-rock!” Estis P@rc draws from styles from diverse musical backgrounds, including groups like My Bloody Valentine and Starflyer 59, Nirvana and Depeche Mode, to create this sound. They use their music to create a relationship with their listeners, opening a door to share Christ both on stage and after their performances!”
