No Longer Music is a dutch band associated with Youth With a Mission formed in 1985. The band's membership and style changes every year, with David Pierce being the only constant member. All band members cover the costs of the tour themselves, so that an entrance fee is usually not charged.

At some point, the band had different versions of their line-up based in different cities around the world, such as Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently the band lists Minneapolis as their location on BandCamp. It also appears they have decided to just go with the shortened version of their name.

There is also a band called Internal that is connected with No Longer Music in some ways, and their 1999 self-titled album is sometimes listed as a No Longer Music release.

The Band's website had this bio in 2013:

Playing primarily in large open squares in major urban centers the band's commitment to the visual, as well as the audio, has made it easy to attract large crowds wherever they go.

No Longer Music is made up of an international group of musicians, actors and artists. Throughout the years the style of No Longer Music has adapted but its commitment to cutting edge visuals and theatrics has ensured that international demand for the band has stayed strong.

This demand has led to years of consecutive world-wide touring in the US, Europe, and the Middle East and opportunities only continue to grow with new possibilities opening up in Asia.

In an industry often void of imagination, No Longer Music is a breath of fresh air and impossible to ignore.”

Please note that No Longer Music has been “passed on” to a new band that appears to want to keep the old fanbase while distancing itself from the band's past lyrics. They are currently harassing the wrong people trying to find anyone they think is related to this website to either get this page taken down, or to get all references to their new abbreviated band name removed. As one band member wrote: “Our heart is still to go outside of the church clearly share the Gospel. That said, we live in a time now where people are very negative ideas about Christianity and Jesus. For that reason, we aren’t overtly Christian online. Unfortunately this entry in your website gives people an impression of us that might keep people from coming to our shows and hearing the Gospel. We are 100% nonprofit and everything we do is motivated by the desire to share Jesus with people.”

To us, it is sketchy to keep ties to the old band like this - is this in order to keep the old fanbase while deceiving people about what they will find at the shows? Of course, other bands have tried to “trick” people into coming to concerts to be evangelized. This is probably giving people more of a negative view of Christianity than anything else. People, especially in Europe, value honesty and realness - not tricking people to come to a rock concert with an ulterior hidden motive. Nothing on this page would give “people an impression of us that might keep people from coming to our shows,” but if these people go to a show and then find there was a hidden motive for the band? That is much more likely to keep people from really taking a moment to hear the Gospel.

If you get one of these messages, please ignore it. Yes, it was sent to you in error, we apologize. But don't try to send it on to someone you think is in charge of this, as you might be incorrect as well. Encourage the band to be more honest and respectful of their fans instead. I'm guessing the 6 people that have visited this page in the past three months (according to it's stats) already know about the bands past. Or they are probably all band members and those they email erroneously.

• 1985: No Longer Music is formed by David Pierce in Amsterdam, Holland.
• 1986: No Longer Music records their first independent demo, Sounds like a Factory.
• 1987: No Longer Music records their second independent release, It's Too Loud, followed by the bands first tour outside Amsterdam and Holland.
• 1988: No Longer Music release their third independent recording, Bustin' Through. Opportunities begin to open in Eastern Europe prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. No Longer Music plays before 15,000 people at Jarocin Festival in Poland.
• 1989: No Longer Music release their fourth independent recording, Thank You, Good Night, We Love You, followed a tour of Scandinavia and Poland.
• 1990: No Longer Music tours the Soviet Union prior to the fall of Communism, performing at the Rock Asia Festival in Barnaul. They become the first Western band to play in Siberia.
• 1991: No Longer Music release their first full-length album, NO SEX (Chrissong, Netherlands). No Longer Music conducts a 32-concert “Moscow to Mongolia” tour. They become the first Western band to play in Mongolia.
• 1992: No Longer Music is seen by millions on Russian Central Television in a one hour CBN video entitled “What Are You Living For?” The band tours again in Europe and the U.S.
• 1993: The book The Rock Priest (the story of David Pierce and No Longer Music) is published. No Longer Music releases their second album, Hang By Your Feet and Sing, (Chrissong, Netherlands). No Longer Music relocates to New Zealand for six months to begin youth programs there.
• 1994: No Longer Music performs a “Friendship Tour” of Vietnam and a nationwide tour of Poland.
• 1995: No Longer Music debuts the rock opera on nationwide tours of New Zealand, Poland and Germany. Pleitegeier Records (Germany) re-leases Thank You, Good Night, We Love You on CD. The album climbs to number four on the indie charts in Germany.
• 1996: No Longer Music conducts a six-month world tour of the rock opera Passion (an act of), performing in New Zealand, the U.S.A., Germany, Poland, Singapore and India.
• 1997: No Longer Music releases the album version of the rock opera Passion (an act of) on the new independent label, Steiger Music. The band begins working on the new material for the new rock opera and planning their next tour.
• 1998: No Longer Music Tours New Zealand.
• 2000: No Longer Music prepare for the new show and 2001 tours.
• 2001: No Longer Music tours Brazil, Jamaica and Poland.
• 2002: No Longer Music tours Brazil playing at the underground clubs of São Paulo and finish playing at the 1st SteigerFest Brazil, Finishes the tour in Poland at Slot Festival.
• 2003: No Longer Music returned to Sao Paulo, Brazil for a third time with a renewed show and completely reformed music set. No Longer Music played in the main alternative venues of Sao Paulo and also at the Steiger Arts Fest 2003.
• 2005: No Longer Music tours through Poland, Germany, Brazil and for the first time in Chile. In Sao Paulo, No Longer Music played nine shows in nine days, including Thorns (a huge Halloween festival) and Hangar 110 - a famous gig spot for international bands playing in Sao Paulo.
• 2006: No Longer Music tours Germany, Poland and Turkey
• 2007: No Longer Music tours Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Iceland and Germany.
• 2008: No Longer Music tours Poland, Lebanon, Turkey, Croatia, Finland, Iceland and the USA.
• 2009: No Longer Music Tours Lebanon, Croatia, and Finland.
