 "Equinox first started in Feb. 97. Shortly thereafter came the release of “The Adonis Chronicles” demo tape. It gained world wide recognition for its ability to touch on the many different elements of the heavy metal genre. Beginning in autumn of 97’ Mike began to prepare material for the upcoming E.P./demo. Upon a writing session with Dan, the first of the new songs was spawned, this song would latter become “Within the Light of Satanas”. The new material that has been written for this release is much more focused and elaborate than anything found on the “Adonis” demo. The band now releases “Ceremony of the North Winds” upon a unsuspecting world. With this release Equinox has firmly established themselves as the purveyors of the “new breed” in the U.S. Christian metal scene. With the exposure, we learned that the Equinox name was copywrited and we decided to change our name to Draco. Draco wilm firmly stand at the helm of metal’s inevitable return."
