God
Barbarian Folk Black Metal
Romania
This band's second album seems to have made it into several Christian collections, but the band seems more focused on Barbarian ancestral gods. They also go by “GOD The Barbarian Horde” now.

“The first studio album was mystically titled to suggest the profound and deep historical spirituality, of which those rooting ancestral concepts were the core inspiration for each and every composition. The record took the Romanian Metal scene by the storm and came as a true revelation for the Eastern European Underground as well! It was also appraised as the Best Album in the national and international media having lots of great reviews in magazines and fanzines alike.”

“This is the second album, the most complex opus from the first part of our career as a band. Symphonic, spiritual and even erotic are words in which one could accurately define the essence of this release. Much more dense and emotional, it succeeds to reveal a new artistic side of us as musicians, one very mature and more spiritual then ever before. Based on overwhelming melodic structures, an aspect more present in comparison with the first album, it makes for a perfect harmony with fast and aggressive rhythms of Black Metal origins. The listener can also distinguish a palette of exotic influences on the lyrical level, inspired from Sanskrit, Romanian and English.”
