Precious Death was a Southern Californian alt-metal band of the 1990s. Chris Scott had previously been in bands Knightfall and [[Death by Numbers]]. The group recorded both songs with a Christian message and ones about life in general. Singer Chris Scott and guitarist David Bishop went on to form [[Blackball]].

From the official Precious Death website: '"Walls" was the first Precious Death song and the model for that unique sound. An absolute killer live from the groups first performances in 1991 that included Larry Farkas from Vengeance Rising. The group wrote it together with Andy on point and Chris bringing lyrics and vocals. Chris brought in "Force Fed from previous work, the only Precious Death song from before band came together in 1990. Chris wrote "Depth of My Soul" with Dave and Andy bringing in the break down and lead section. Then Andy wrote "I Will" with Roger which was another live killer. Recorded in 90' and then released on analogue cassette tape only in 1991 it still lives as a mosh pit crusher after all these years. Some people think it has the most live Precious Death feel of any of their records. If you were there for the shows on the Sunset strip you know what I'm saying.'

Apparently, this album was originally called //New Music for the Quiet Revolution//: "From the album considered "dangerous" by the record company. Its title and songs were unceremoniously changed. The album had no official title. This is the original cover they wouldn't publish. Precious Death's biggest mistake was signing a contract with a record company. Live and learn brothers. Live and learn."
