====== Lost Tribe ======

Groove Metal\\
Atlas, Michigan, USA

Grant Mohrman, Dwight Mohrman, and Andrew Barancik of the heavy metal band [[Extreme Silence]] joined with Ken Capton to form the groove metal band Lost Tribe. They recorded one ep cassette called //Geared to Groove// in 1992. And yes, that is actor and football player Terry Crews rapping on "Ms. Fortune." Capton departed from the band soon after the cassette was recorded, but the remaining three members decided to stay together.

Dwight, Grant, and Andrew went on to join [[Leaderdogs for the Blind]] for their release //Lemonade// in 1995. That version of the band split, but the three decided to reform Lost Tribe. Their evolving musical style caused them to change their name to [[Full on the Mouth]]. They then hired Jon Knox of [[Adam Again]] fame to play drums, signed to Atlantic Records sub-label Pioneer, and released //Collide// in 1998.
