Beginning December 20th, The Pilot Episode for The Arktos Chronicles will begin rolling out onto social media such as Facebook, Youtube, and Vimeo. It is described as a radio drama within a radio drama. It is described as The Three Stooges meet the weirdness of Twin Peaks, meeting the family-friendly warmth of It’s a Wonderful Life.
Tighna, Alaska sits right on the cusp of the Arctic Circle and is the sort of small town one might expect, given it’s geography. However, Arktos is a realm wherein Mystical is the rule and life behind the scenes of the small town can be of mythical proportions. The Pilot Episode very much delivers on that. However, as the show moves into 2021, we will get into the day to day grit of what it means to be part of this special town and region.
The show was created by Theodore Andrew Obrastoff (Come as a Child or Not at All). Some may well call this Mr. Theo’s Great Opus for it is a work which is rooted in his life time of musical and dramatic works. Obrastoff also provides voice acting as well. Other voices are provided by Mike Indest (New Orleans, LA) and Robb Randle (Marysville, WA).
Admission to the show is absolutely free. If there is ever a fee, it is for the listeners to repost the press releases and links to videos via social networking and word of mouth. The Pilot Episode will be published in three parts beginning December 20th, and then on December 22nd and 23rd. The first full season of the show will air February of 2021.
