[[David “Burrito” Villalpando]] joined the band after they had been together for a few months. Our music sound was more old school hardcore. 44evergiven toured in 1998 with Blindside on their first U.S. tour. The band went through so many personnel changes that they changed their name [[Grace for the Fallen]] in 1999.+44evergiven started at the end of 1996. [[David “Burrito” Villalpando]] joined the band after they had been together for a few months. Mark Miller tells the story of how Burrito joined the band: “When we decided to start a band, I asked Burrito to help us find a bass player. I figured he knew a lot of people in the music scene and could help with that. Instead, he went to the music store and bought a bass guitar. I found out through our pastor’s wife (she said he was really excited)I contacted him and said, ‘Welcome to the band dude!’”
