Thrash / Death Metal

“Formed out of the ashes of the band Thanatopsis, Hostility was formed in the late 80's. After losing their singer the band got a new singer in 1990. His name is Rich Olson, formally of the band Voice of Command. The band began practicing and after time they recorded their first demo called Soon Comes the Return. The band was signed immediately was sign by indie label A.R.T. Records out of Florida and changed names to Pale Horse. In 1993 the band recorded their first album called Mournful. The album sold more than the band could even imagine and became a insanely sought after album in the death metal market. But, it served to be the death of the band. They were screwed over by their label (imagine that) and the band parted ways on shaky ground. As time passed their Mournful album continued to be sought after by many. The album featured some great special guests; Johnny P from Mortal Decay, Bill Berends from Mastermind and Chris Carmen from Killroy. The band mixed old school death metal with thrash. Pale Horse incorporated some intense vocal arrangements, incredible guitar hooks, bass lines to die for and masterful drumming inspired by none other than Dave Lombardo. In 2004 Pale Horse has signed a deal with Bombworks Records to release all of their songs on one CD. Even the rare recordings of their Bitter Fruits of Temptation EP. Pale Horse has secured it's full original lineup and plan on getting to the studio in 2005 to record their lost follow up to Mournful. Keep an eye out and please visit their label and inquire about their new release Until the Last Seal is Opened.”
