“Sheltershed's origins can be traced back to 1997, when Aussie DJ, mixmaster and synth wiz Wil Foster recorded a demo called Equipment under the moniker Atlantis. A cover/remix of the Echoing Green song “Arrival” was featured on a compilation released on the Australian Sureshot Records, but this early incarnation was largely unknown in North America.
Foster emigrated to the United States a year later and began recording as Sheltershed after teaming up with American friends Craig White and Rob Tippey.”
