Infra Penny
Rock
Glasgow, Scotland
Described as one of “Glasgow's fondly remembered rock-gospel bands,” this band formed around 1980 and lasted about 5 years according to bassist and vocalist Sammy Horner. Horner went on to form The Electrics with Infra Penny member Paul Baird. They recorded one tape at Strathaven, Scotland, that apparently had a cover influenced by Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA (“we got my friend's son to dress up like that; I can't remember why” according to Horner). Ritchie Miller, who used to front Infra Penny, went on to form Where's Enoch?.
