“A message from Derri Daugherty.

Hello family and friends,
This is Derri Daugherty, singer/guitarist for the Alt-Rock band “The Choir”. Many of you have followed our music for years and continue to listen and support us. We are forever grateful for that. The last two years have been hard on a lot of us. Hopefully, you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

In May of 2020 I went into the hospital with two bleeding ulcers. After two blood transfusions I was put on medication and released. Thankfully, I’m doing well with that and the ulcers have healed. Then in May of 2021 my eye sight began began to fail which required four surgeries over the past year. I haven’t been able to drive since the end of December 2021 and also moved in with my son so he could provide transportation. The surgeries were successful and I’m back in the studio but still healing and unable to drive yet. Since, due to the pandemic, we haven’t been able to tour (and much of my income is from touring) medical bills have piled up.

So I’ve started a GoFundMe page to raise money for some of my medical bills. Your help would be sincerely appreciated. And if you will share this on any social media to help spread the word, that would be welcomed also. Thank you so much for all of your kind support. You can view my GoFundMe BY CLICKING HERE.

Peace, Love and Light
Derri Daugherty”
