“Assembly Line was an early, one-man project of Birmingham, Alabama techno-dance maven Patrick Mauldin. His only recording under the moniker, “Fast v.1.7,” was a short, staccatto techno-industrial instrumental featured on the Ballistic Test 3 and Best of Ballistic Test 1997-1998, released on Flaming Fish Music in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Mauldin would later record the somewhat more successful industrial dance project M-Edge and trance outfit Fitzpatrick.”
