Dry Bones

Thrash Metal / Crossover
Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Dry Bones formed in 1992. The band recorded their only demo in 1992. It was re-released by A.R.T. Records as a 7-inch record in 1993. They recorded their follow-up Shelter while they were still Dry Bones. Erik had taken time away from the band and they recruited Rob Wolfe of Sacrament to sing for the sessions. According to Nate in 2024: “Those recording sessions proved difficult. Nate, Chris, and Bryan had written four tunes that were definitely not metal. Rob had ideas and while the intentions were pure, we knew the vocals Rob recorded were not what these songs needed. Chris somehow convinced Erik to to come lay down vocal tracks and if felt right. It was not Dry Bones. We sounded like a brand new band. We needed a new name and Crawlspace was it.”

Crawlspace then changed names to Everdown and released two albums on Tooth & Nail Records. In 2018, Thrashback Records released the three Dry Bones songs on the A.R.T. Records Singles Series Volume 1 along with Drop Dead, Final Judgement, and Godhead.
